Location short walk to the mountains as well as the beautiful Buddhist temple. Clean and cozy room with private bathroom and TV set, tea and coffee making facilities, and a dining area.

The room had an amazing view of the mountains and I could even see the sunrise from my bed. The staff treated me so well, they were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The only thing that could make the breakfast selection better was if they had a wider variety of pastries.

Convenient Location

This place is super close to a Monastery and Arugam Bay, making it easy to explore around 🏞️. the view of the mountains from here is just spectacular. Our rooms also had amazing views so we could fully enjoy the scenery.

The competent staff makes this hotel an incredibly beautiful place to stay. the rooms here are reasonably large and new-fashioned with an amazing view. - the setting is amazing; it's so close to a nearby monastery, which was super special, as well as the center of Ella. - One of the tourist spots - Halpe Temple - is at walking distance from the venue; really enjoyed that.

Engaging with the staff, cooking meals together, and exploring hidden gems of the area with Indika added immense value to our trip. the down-to-earth vibe and authenticity of the retreat create a unique opportunity to connect with the local culture.

I really got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was clean and modern, and the view was absolutely amazing. The staff treated me like a VIP, they were so nice and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Brisk Ella Retreat. the staff was welcoming, despite some difficulty communicating in English. the hotel driver was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. the value for money was excellent. the highlight of our stay was Mr Indika and Kamal, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. Mr Indika truly is a star and Mr Kamal makes the best pancakes and breakfast! the view and simplicity of the retreat added to the charm. It was a great experience to connect with the local Sri Lankan people and enjoy cooking meals with the staff. Indika took us on a day trip, showing us the most beautiful corners of the area. it was a fantastic experience!
